Preset Question - JPG only & RAW only Presets

Hey all!

I have a feeling this is going to "out me" as an amateur - it's okay, I'll admit it.

So I have downloaded some presets but I stumbled across a set that are listed as JPG only and an equivalent set listed as RAW only. I thought I understood enough about the differences between JPG and RAW, but apparently not. What is it that makes a preset a RAW preset vs. a JPG preset?

Some Develop controls work differently for raw files than for rendered files. These include white balance and camera calibration. My guess is that the presets in question include those controls.

White balance was my guess as well.
