I'm using macOS Catalina with Lr Classic 9.0
I'm trying to understand Preserved Filename feature first introduced in Classic 8.3 (May 2019)
When I check out my Metadata in the Library with EXIF and IPTC selected, I do not see 'Preserved File Name' underneath 'File Name' in the panel, I see 'Copy Name' under 'File name'.
I always rename on import with a date preamble.

How can I get to see this Preserved Filename feature?

Peter

Change the metadata view to "Default".

Thanks, that did it.
I must remember that when Adobe says "select EXIF and IPTC to see this feature", they mean "don't select EXIF and IPTC if you want to see this feature".
