Preferences>Preset>Serial Number or ISO Setting?

Howdy,
I own two different dslrs. First, is a Cannon 4''D XTi and the second is a Nikon D8'. I have PS LR1.4. Is it possible to set in Preferences more than one camera's serial number to the preset? So that PS LR will see and understand which camera I've used. Both Cameras are set to capture Raw & Jpeg in the same stroke. Or is PS LR only able to record only one camera? I've only jest started thinking Raw & Jpeg yesterday when given PS LR 1 before yesterday I had always used Jpeg. I ain't even gone out yet to experiment, your thoughts would be considered professionally before I make a decision, thanks.

Lightroom automatically recognizes the camera used and you can use as many as you wish. I have at least a dozen models in my Catalog database.

Forgot answering about serial numbers... For when you have multiple cameras of the very same model, there is an option in the configuration panel to treat similar cameras with different serial numbers as different cameras.

You can't tie presets to particular cameras, but you can tailor Lightroom's defaults to particular cameras.

(1) In Preferences, under the Presets tab, check "Make defaults specific to camera serial number."
(2) Pick an image from each camera, and in Develop, set it the way you'd like the defaults to be for that camera.
(3) Hold down the Alt/Option key and note that the Reset button in the lower left changes to "Set Default". Press that.

Note: Be aware that any Develop presets you apply on import will override these new defaults.

Ya answer quick, I like that, thanks! I gotta think on it a spell. Jest tryin' to get feet wet, so next question: should I jest shoot raw and forget jpeg? Better yet, will PS LR allow me to load raw there and jpeg in PSE5, if I capture in both formats?
