Historically I have had this box ....... unchecked..... altho I have had higher end nvidia video cards, i-7 3.4GHz chip, 32 GB DD4 ram installed. Seems like i ran across that unchecked box for better performance as a general input suggestion long ago. I import cr raw initially to only later convert keepers to DNG.
With recent install to new system and upgrade to LR6.14, that box is presently checked for allowing my NVidia GTX 1650 PCIe/SSe2.
My average import size are minimum 1000 images from 20MP 7DMk2 body.
With the newer, more efficient video cards of today available by checking the camera raw box and my GTX 1650 card, will it enhance imports speeds or hinder in theory , when using a good card reader ?
I am fortunate to have usb 3.2 2x2 type c and type A I\O and SSD internals drives and SSD external HDs where LR is located.
Thank you for your time.
