possible to cherry pick images to export w/o using filters

Yesterday, I shot about 2,''' images from MotoGP. Is there a way to individually click certain images to export without using stars or flags?

Just ctrl-click them in grid or filmstrip view. Then press ctrl-shift-E. This should bring up the export dialog for the selected photos.

Two things:

While most operations affect multiple photos only when in Grid View, Export works with multiples chosen in the filmstrip in other views as well.

Be careful, ctrl-clicking is easy to get confused, and easy to lose your selection choices after a lot of work.

I hope I understood what you were asking, if not, more details, please.

Or select each image and type B to add it to the Quick Collection. When you are ready to export, click on Quick Collection in the Catalog panel, select all, and export. Then right-click on the Quick Collection and clear it.

Bob, I agree with Laura, that's the way I do it myself.

(From your OP, I presumed you wanted to stay in the current View for some reason. But her suggestion is far less 'fragile' in terms of selection stickiness.)
