I am living in plug-in hell.
I have DXO NIK, Topaz Collection Aurora 2019 and Luminar 3, all of which show up in Photoshop CC and NONE of which show up in Lightroom 8.
I need some insight on why this would happen and if anyone else had this issue and has solved this. This is on a Windows 10 OS. Please. Pretty please.

This might help, and could be quicker than going straight to a reinstallation process. And apologies if you've already tried it (or reinstalled already).

In Lightroom, check under Edit | Preferences | Presets
If the Store Presets with Catalog option is checked, uncheck it. Restart LR.
Apparently that should make plug-ins appear in the Photo | Edit In menu option.

Cheers,
Cat

If reinstalling the plugins doesn't help, try to manually add each of them as an editor in Lightroom (screenshots attached below):
  1. Open Preferences (Edit menu / Preferences)
  2. Click the External Editing tab in the Preferences window.
  3. In the Additional External Editor section, click the Choose button.
  4. Navigate to the .exe file for the plugin you wish to install as an editor. (My screenshot shows the path for Nik Color Efex.)
  5. Click the Choose button to add it as an editor.
  6. Repeat for all of your other plugins.
