Please help! Printing in Lightroom 2.6...can't do it :(

I just bought an Epson Artison 81' and it worked great the first night. Now when I print anything in LR2.6 all I get is a solid gray. It will print my Identity plate and it shows the picture fine in the print window. I can print in PS 4 and all other programs without problems. I am sure I did something stupid in LR but, don't know what it is. The Lightroom 3 beta prints just fine!? I am not sure if converting everything to a beta (just so I can print) is a good idea but, I am really close to doing that) Please help a frustrated old man if you can.

It will be your setting somewhere.
Maybe you could take a moment to fill in your profile so we know which OS, etc we are dealing with.

Windows 7,Intel Q94'' Quad [email protected], nVidia 98''GT. Have uninstalled twice (using Your uninstaller), cleaned registry, deleted folder and reinstalled. No change. 3 Beta prints fine, CS4 prints fine, LR 2.6 prints a nice grey box. It will print file info, nameplate etc, but the pic although the correct size is just a grey box.

I would remove the preferences temporarily and see if that helps. Otherwise I'll defer to someone with PC experience.

I give up. Uninstalled 3 different times, reinstalled still just prints a grey box. Guess I threw that $ down the adobe drain. Beta 3 works fine but, again I hate to use it exclusively. I tried uninstalling the preference files but that did not help either.

Oh poop!! What are your printer settings and what settings are you using in the Print Module? Maybe a screen shot of your print module setting s will throw up something!!
Where are all the Windows operators???? :'(

Finally figured it out! It was the catalog file. Must have been corrupt or somthing? Made a new catalog and imported my photos (6K of them ) and everything is good now. Happy camper here!

That is good to hear. If you have a problem with a catalog you can export as a catalog from the funky one and test that or create a new on and import from the funky catalog and try that. If either of those tactics work you retain a lot of info such as collections.Happy New Year camper!!
