Hello new friends

I just downloaded Lightroom CC and am in the first few days of exploring. I keep hearing about wonderful tools, notably the spot removal tool... but I can't find them. Please take a look at my screengrab and tell me where they're hiding. I've clicked on everything on the screen but no tool menu is offered. What am I missing?

It's the third tool down on the right-hand side, between the crop tool and the brush tool.
