Please fix the folder permissions, then relaunch Lightroom.

I keep getting the above message.
I've opened the info on the folder concerned and made sure it's read/write to everyone. But still no joy. And I can't get passed the warning when i open Lightroom to direct it back to my old cat.

If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated!

Hi Rob, sorry to hear you're having trouble, but welcome to the forum!

Check a little further up and down the folder structure - check the catalog files themselves, and also the parent folders - I've seen some odd permissions issues on Leopard.

And hold down Opt while starting up, so you can definitely choose the right catalog.

If that doesn't work, walk us through the steps you're taking...
