For some reason I cannot open photos as layers in Photoshop from Lightroom via the Edit in option, I can open a single photo from Lightroom but not more than 1 as layers. I tried uninstalling Photoshop and reinstalling but no change?

When you say you can’t open them as layers, what does that mean? Is the menu dimmed? Can you select the menu but only one image opens in Photoshop?
