Import Photos won't import

Lightroom Classic 9.0

Operating System

1. macOS 10.15 Catalina

Using latest version, I'm trying to import photos held on my NAS but Lightroom thinks they are already in the catalogue, so they are greyed out . However the photos don't show in the catalogue, the Month folders I have are there but empty???

If you have sent import suspected duplicates checked, In Lightroom search for one of the images files that "won't import" by file name. This will tell you where LR think the file is located that it thinks is a duplicate.

Are you trying to import using ADD or Copy? If you are trying to use Add, make sure that you have write permission to the NAS folders.

Thanks Cletus. I had done both of those things. Only way it worked was to untick "Don't import suspected duplicate" weird?!
