I have Lightroom 2.2 and a Epson Stylus Photo R24''. I have downloaded the latest drivers from Epson and no combination of profile or rendering allows the printed photo to match what is on the screen. The photos come out dark and colorless or overexposed.

I enable print preview and the preview accurately depicts what is ultimately printed so the color management is screwed up before it gets to the printer.

How do I rectify this?

I print with the R24'' all the time with excellent results. Without knowing your operating system or paper type, I will give you what I routinely do for printing excellent prints. My example is working with LR 2.2, XP SP3, and Epson Velvet Fine Art paper:

Now click the Advanced button for this screen to appear, and most importantly, click Off (No Color Adjustment):

You need to fill in your info about your system, etc. through the User Panel!

Happy New Year,
Darr
