Not very seldomly - although not very frequently - a photo is not visible in the Library module after having been edited in Photoshop, unless I select the particular folder where it resides. If I select all photos having a particular keyword as present in the Keyword List panel, the photo (having that keyword) is not visible.

How come, and how to remedy?

This behaviour rather often occurs after having it on top of a stack created via HDR or Panorama in Lightroom and then editing a copy of that topmost photo in Photoshop.

I'm attaching two screendumps showing the different views.

The keyword list shows 1016 photos having the 03-Namibia keyword, but the keyword filter only shows 852 photos having this keyword, even though you are in ‘All Photographs’. That means that the difference must be photos hidden in stacks, and your missing photo is probably one of them.

The invisible photo is indeed located in a stack as the topmost one, but the stack itself is not visible. As can be seen from the attached screendump, two other stacks are visible. One (containing four images) is the result of a Lightroom HDR, and the other (containing two images) is the result of an edit in Photoshop.

So, I can't understand why one stack is missing while two other (in this subset of photos) are visible. All images in the 'missing' stack have the "03_Namibia" keyword.

This behaviour - strange as it seems to me - occurs now and then.

Is there an explanation?

Thank you! Photos were not shown due to Custom filter really was Hidden filters. When setting Filters Off, all photos became visible. Collections were not involved.
