Lightroom classic version 9.3
Operating System
  1. macOS 10.15 Catalina
images that have been edited in photoshop don't return to lightroom in same capture time order so I then have to search for them. It used to work perfectly until the update before last! Or is it that i've updated my mac?

Welcome to the forum!

Change the Sort Order at the bottom of Grid view to Capture Time (see page 167 of your Classic book)

Thanks for the reply. It is set to capture time already. Any other thoughts??

Are you using “Save” or “Save As” in PS? Are you setting the option to stack in the Lightroom preference for the PS Editor?

I do not see this happening on my Macs running Catalina and Lr Classic 9.3. An image sent to Photoshop comes back with the same capture time as the original.

When you search for them, where do you find them? At the end, or somewhere else in the middle?
