Welocme to the LR forums.
Are the tiff files imported into LR (ie
ld tiff files) or do you generate them from RAW/DNG within LR (ie: open in external editor or export as tiff)?
Describe your workflow a little more.
If you could fill in your signature so we know what system you run LR on (nikon/canon, PC/mac, HD/RAM, RAW/DNG etc etc) that would help a lot.
