In Library and Develop mode, you can ask to view loupe info over the photo itself in the upper left corner. Can you get this camera info (Name, date etc in grid view?
 
Press cmd + J (Mac ) or Ctrl+J (Windows) to get the Library View Options and set it from there.
 
Use “Expanded Cells” in grid view. That gives you four metadata fields to display in the ‘slide mount’ around the image.
