I have my photos in a master folder (LR pix), with many subfolders (by date) below that. In the left-hand pane, with that master folder selected/highlighted, I am told there are 5''' photos; in the bottom panel, just above the thumbnails, I am told "4995 of 5''' photos/1 selected".I looked at the menu Photo->Delete Rejected Photos in case that was where the missing 5 were, but it says there are ' of them. I always run the Backup with Integrity Check at startup, and no problems reported.Any ideas as to find out why the count is off by 5, and where/how I can access them? Thanks! ???

Try keyboard shortcut 's' to reveal all in Groups. And see the numbers agree!

I'm sorry, but I don't understand. In Library Module, with Catalog->All Photographs highlighted in LH pane, use the letter 's' (like Sam) and that should reveal the entire picture file? That didn't do anything in terms of changing the "missing 5"- still off in the bottom pane "All Photographs/4995 of 5''' photos/1 selected".

Whenever counts are off, it's usually because images are stacked.

'S' toggles selected stacks; or in the Library > Photo > Stacking menu option, choose Expand all Stacks.
