18 April 2023 It's Lightroom update time again! See this blog post for Lightroom Classic and this blog post for the Lightroom Cloud Ecosystem changes. The biggest news in this release is the new AI-based Denoise feature, and Tone Curves in Masking too.
Import Phantom Folder

Right-click on the 2022 folder in Lightroom and choose ‘Show Parent Folder’. That will show the extra folder in Lightroom too. Apparently what you have done is select the top 2022 folder during import, while you should have selected its parent (Imported Photos). Now that both folders show, you can drag and drop the sub folders into the top 2022 folder to correct this. Do this in Lightroom, not in the Finder.
