Pausing image in slide show mode

I am trying to pause the slide show. Hitting the space bar always worked. Today when I hit the space bar the slide show keeps playing. Help.Bob

When you hit the space bar, a small icon should appear in the lower left corner of the screen. Do you get the icon?

Bob. are you using 2.4 or the upgrade 2.5? It works for me in 2.5!

Don, using 2.5 it worked in 2.4 had not tried it in 2.5. It should work. I have someone coming over to look at proofs this weekend. I thought it would be nice to set show up with Blank screen ( black with persons name) I WANTED TO START SHOW AND STOP IT ON THE BLACK SCREEN.RESTART WHEN PERSON ARRIVES.BOB

Bob, try the 'trash the prefs' (.plist file). THat often works for random weirdness.

Don, It worked when I trashed the Plistfile. But when I added music to show I could not stop show by hitting he space bar. I tried trashing Plistfile but it still does not stop the show. bob thanks for trying to help me. bob

Pause with Music works for me. The image pauses, while the music plays on, and images continue to play when I press spacebar again.
