I am using LR 6.2 on a Mac and have been for a good while but the last few days when I open it all is well for a short while then the panels go off the screen, I have tried what the book said and what I could fine on Adobe web site. Please could someone help.

Hi Radar and welcome to the forums.

Are you perhaps typing the TAB key? This will hide the panels. If not can you post a screen shot showing what it looks like?

Also I suggest that you upgrade Lightroom to 6.14 which is the last release of LR6. There were a lot of bugs fixed between 6.2 and 6.14 so it would be a more stable release to work with.

Do you perhaps have Auto hide or Auto Hide and Show selected for the panel groups? Are you perhaps accidentally clicking ANYWHERE on the vertical black bar that contains a triangle in the middle? Clicking anywhere on the bar is the same as clicking on the triangle and sometimes when trying to click on something near the bar you miss.
