Hello guys,
I'm a new user on Lightroom 2.1 on Vista 64. So i've done a mistake when i was backing up my images and i only backup my catalog file.
Now i can't export my JPGs. I try to export as JPG, and still it doesn't export the missing images even if i can see right in front of me on the catalog.
Is there any way to export my images in my catalog even if i don't have the original files? My other idea is to make a printscreen, but that's a lot of work and hassle.

Thanks guys, i'm desperate.

Welcome, take a moment to fill in your signature (in the UserCP - top left of the page) with relevant information please.
On the Mac you will have been asked when you moved the folder that another folder of the same name existed and did you want to replace it.
Still a small lesson of the kind we all get.......

Dear Gabriel,

if you have lost/deleted your original files (JPG/RAW/DNG...) you lost your originals and LR can do nothing anymore.

The fact that you see something is that the previews are stored in a directory structure where your .lrcat file is.

You have to back up your images AND the .lrcat file to be on the save side.

MARK,
Thanks sooo much. It worked like a charm. Of course i lost a bit of resolution and also i can't change the images anymore. The settings i had are final now.. but that's not that bad.
Thanks again guys!!!
