Organize photos for web gallerys

I am using lightroom to create new gallerys for my website. What I can't seem to figure out is how can I arrange the order of the photos to appear in the gallery as I want them to? I am trying to do this in the library mode under grid view. I can find several presets for the order but I want to choose the order myself and not have them go by filename, or time, or size ect.... how do I move the photos around

Put the photos of interest in a collection. In a collection, you can select manual ordering of photos.
