Hey everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. I've been trying to optimize my cloud-based Lightroom app on my gaming PC, and I've been facing some challenges. I was wondering if anyone here could lend a hand or offer some advice.
I've noticed that when I use my cloud-based Lightroom app, especially when working with larger photo libraries or performing resource-intensive edits, my PC tends to slow down, and sometimes the app even crashes. This is quite frustrating, as I know my gaming PC should be more than capable of handling these tasks smoothly.

I've done some research and tried a few things to improve the performance:
  1. Update Graphics Drivers: I made sure my graphics card drivers were up to date to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Increase Virtual Memory: I adjusted my virtual memory settings to provide more resources for Lightroom.
  3. Clear Cache and Preferences: I cleared the cache and preferences in Lightroom to see if it would help, but the issues persist.
  4. Check Internet Connection: I made sure my internet connection was stable and fast to ensure smooth syncing with the cloud.
Despite these efforts, I haven't seen a significant improvement in performance.

I'm hoping someone here might have some insights into how to optimize Lightroom for my gaming PC. Specifically:
  1. Are there any specific settings within Lightroom that I should be tweaking for better performance on a gaming PC?
  2. Are there any known compatibility issues between certain gaming PC configurations and Lightroom?
I'd really appreciate any guidance or advice you can provide. I'm sure there are others out there facing similar issues, and your insights could benefit the community as a whole.

Thanks in advance for your help!
Regards,
Charlie

Please specify the Lightroom Version (there is no such thing as Lightroom CC anyway)
