Hello,

I just got new computer and downloaded latest version of LR and PS. Then I imported my LR catalog on my new MacBookPro with Catalina 10.15.2. Now following a pattern that I have not yet understand I'm not able to open files from LR to PS and I get the following message in PS :" impossible to open file xxxx because of a disk problem". this hapens with raw and dng files. I have download and installed the new camera raw converter 12.2 but the problem persist. I have no problem opening the same file directly from PS or work with the file in LR, but only when in LR I try to open it in PS.

Note: This problem does not happen with older Raw Images saved on my external HD...only with new files created since the installation of this LR (??)

Any idea or suggestions how to resolve this?

Thank you

Robert

Most likely you did not give Photoshop permissions to access the folder of your new images. Open your System Preferences - Security & Privacy and make sure that Photoshop either has the necessary privileges in 'Files and Folders', or that you added it to 'Full Disk Access'.

Hi Johan
that fixed the problem!!
I was looking for a very complicated solution......it wasn't, but I would have not think about that!

Thank you so much for help.

Regards
