Im using a PC and when I want to edit some one off photos I choose open with then choose LRC or PS but when I choose LRC it opens a old version of LR so can you please look at the photos and advise me which one I need to choose from the second photo Location or file name so it opens LRC .

What makes you think it's an old copy? The filename no longer changed during upgrades from 114.0 and above.

The default file to open Classic is a catalog not an image file. If you open Lightroom Classic and choose "Import files...", you can navigate to the folder containing the source files and import a copy of your image file to the destination of your choosing.

If you have set Windows actions to open Lightroom app for this file type , this is wrong. If you install Lightroom, it will not set an image file in Windows file types to open with this app.
