Check Settings / Bluetooth and Devices / Auto Play settings..
Sometimes when a new external drive / card is connected Windows provides a prompt for a default option.
I always have this option switched off.. so no hands on experience of using this..

I would try it…not sure if it just launches Bridge or leaves you in Bridge. There may be options in Bridge to influence such behaviour.
