Okay, so to set the stage, I've done this plenty, but not recently so I don't know when this changed. I've got a location defined in LrC and I can get jpg files to sync from LR cloud on my desktop, LR app on Pixel 4 app. The phone app I can pull from local jpg files or take a jpg with the LR app camera. They all sync to all platforms, not a single hiccup. I can add a DNG or RAW in with the LR cloud desktop app. It syncs up on all platforms. If I use the LR phone app to take a DNG then it syncs everywhere except into LrC. If I take a DNG with the Pixel camera app and use LR phone app to import, it syncs everywhere as expected. So the only problem is a DNG taken from within the android LR phone app. When I look at the syncing status in LrC preferences, I can see those missing files in the list and they have a Downloading status. So it is attempting to download, but is not completing. There is something about DNG from the LR app camera that is related to this issue. Just seems odd that they sync everywhere else, but never finish on LrC. And it is syncing fine for DNG from other apps and devices.

So, any ideas? Oh, and I've logged out and back in, restarted apps, rebooted. I'm running out of combinations and permutations to try.

It would be interesting to see if somebody could try DNG on an iPhone in the LR app camera and someone also try a different Android phone than my Pixel 4 XL. That would help me narrow it down to device and/or app.

thanks

thanks Paul. I kind of figured it would, but wanted to rule that combo out. I'm betting it is either an Android app issue or specific to Pixels in general or specifically my Pixel 4.

I actually have a goofy workaround. I just set up the LR phone app to Auto Import RAW files and then I shoot DNG +JPG with the Google app. It snags them and uploads them just fine. I just have to remember to turn off shooting in RAW + JPG when I only want candids, which is most of the time.

This is a known problem - see this thread, and the links from there to Adobe's feedback site.
Thanks. I did a google search and got other links on this site, but not that post. I figured I wasn't the first to have it happen.

We can let this thread die out. I'll wait for a new version of the app from Adobe.
