one slideshow setting to rule them all (global slideshow settings)

hello,
been playing around with the slideshow in LR2.' and would like to know where i can change the slideshow options so that EVERY collection of photos will displayed in the same way?

right now if i change something in one collection of photos it DOES NOT change in the other collections

i can appreciated that these settings can be one on a collection by collection basis but there must be a way to make a global change as well????

Save them as a template and apply that template to other slideshows you want to update? It won't update globally on already saved settings, otherwise you could accidentally change one you didn't mean to.

i saved it as a template, then clicked on each collection and clicked on the saved template to apply it.

i tried to highlight all my collections (only 1' at the moment) to apply the slideshow but it didn't work

is there a way to apply my saved SS template to more than one collection at a time? lets say if i had 1'' collections? or did i do something wrong when highlighting them?
