Who's ignoring all the warnings about BETA software and switching over to 2.' no holds barred.

Not me. It's too slow and has crashed about 1' times.

I think it's going to be a wonderful version when it's a little less tentative.

Now, if someone hadn't loaned me their film scanner I might be more tempted ... I'm busy.

The first time that I opened it up to poke around it would only send the first file that I clicked on to PS no matter what I selected, and that cured me from thinking that I could switch over. I open it up every now and then and try some things out, then I quit and go back to work with 1.3.

Not I...

I just imported a bunch of images from my CF card again, creating a totally different testing environment.

1.3.1 is working well for me and not to be touched until speed, bugs, and a few more extras are added:cheesy:

I AM using it fairly extensively, but I am used to using a lot of beta software, so I have plenty of safety measures in place. I wouldn't recommend most people do that though!

I am running a full database with 1.3.1 and 2B1 at the same time. While identical copies, they are separate copies, just in case. I will wait to move to 2 when 2 is ready, but messing around with it has been interesting. Good for the practice and helps Adobe get things sorted out.

It's going to be a terrific program.

My computer is getting a little creaky (we match). I'm hoping that Lr will not feel confined by it.

I would be playing with it more if I weren't watching grass grow while I scan my negatives with this ancient Minolta Dimage. Nevermind, when my 25 year old daughter finds out that she refused to wear clothing until she was at least four, it will all be worth it. *snicker*

I play with betas a bit, but I barely touch them after that. The biggest thing for me is that my changes aren't guaranteed to hold in 2.'. I don't want to be processing old images again when the real thing comes out.

I use it on my personal pictures to try it out and the odd commercial picture but only on a copy of the original picture. 1.3 is my main safe use.

I just played around a bit to use the new features but haven't used it for any of my "serious" work.
