Is there any reason to hold off upgrading to LR 9.0?

There does not seem to be any new functionality in LR 9.0 that I can't live without, so I've held off upgrading until the dust settles. With users continuing to post problems related to the upgrade I've continued to hold off.

So, is it safe to jump into the 9.0 pool? I'm on window 10 if that matters.

Thanks, Dave

LR 9 works well on Windows 10. There are some compatibilty problems reported between between LR9 and the latest version of MacOS (Catalina) wich doesn't concern user running Windows 10.
You can upgrade without much worry.

BTW, since the subscription license model, version numberdoesn't imply major version as before, it is just increased once a year for convenience.
Instead, every 2 months or so, you get a new version which includes some new features (but of course less than when there was a version every 2 years !)

Like anything else, do a backup before doing anything :)

For most people, it seems to be running fine. You should spot any issues fairly quickly. Most of the issues seem to be with outdated graphics card drivers.
