No Video Support...

I was kind of shocked to find that LR3 didn't bring any support for video import/organization. I see the lack of video support in lightroom being as being an increasing problem in the future. Almost every camera you buy now can take decent video and the higher end cameras can do some amazing video. Photographers are playing around wit video and videographers are interested in these new DSLRs. It's glaringly obvious that this needs to happen. How else are we supposed to organize and manage all this stuff?

They haven't incorporated all the planned features into this first beta. I think it is likely that you'll see video in there before the release of LR3.

My guess is that Adobe would prefer that you bought Premiere for your video needs.

+1 on video support.
I just got my 7d, and it would be soooo nice to be able to import and keep track of vids in LR. Just like iPhoto does it. No need for editing or adjustments, just the ability to import view and store vids.

Let's keep in mind that LR3 won't be out for sometime and the beta is not feature complete. However any speculation on what will or won't be added is just that speculation.
So keep placing feature requests!!
