no thumbnails

Hi, I just downloaded the trial version of lightroom2.2. When I try to import a file either from a card or from my hard drive all I get is a gray box..if I click the box to import i can only see it in web module. the data is there but just not visable. What am I doing wrong? I am on windows vista. PS3 works fine.

Welcome to our forum. Try Lightroom 2.3RC instead, at Adobe Labs. Version 2.2 has some problems.

Do you mean that you can't import or that after importing all you see are gray boxes where the thumbnails should be? If the latter, see this:
