No Preview in print mode.

I have not been able to print from Lightroom. I used to print with no problems but now nothing happens when I hit print. I have noticed that the preview window is blank. The rest of the print settings seem OK. I have not been using LR or the computer much lately; maybe I need to be retrained. (This is on my Vista machine.)
