"No photos to delete"

I have recently imported several folders of images and then gone through the process of flagging the "no-hopers" for deletion. However, when I selected Delete rejected photos, Lightroom showed all the images I flagged in the strip and the bottom of the screen, then gave me a dialog box saying "there are no photos to delete".

The problem is, I do not seem to be able to replicate this. Sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't. On one occassion (out of sheer frustration) I selected "delete rejected photos" 5 times on the same set of images before it would delete the images.

Any ideas?

I have seen this occasionally and haven't been able to replicate consistently. I did find that if you select the Show Rejected Photos only flag on the Filter Bar on the bottom-right above the Film Strip first, it works every time.

This happens to me quite often also. The solution seems to be to wait a minute or so and then try it again. Almost always works the second time for me if I give it a minute. I think it must be finishing updating something in the catalog.

I have seen this also. I usually wait a few seconds and then try again. I also find switching into Grid View (if you aren't already) helps too.
