Nikon D750/850 - When I export/save a photo to a jpg I want to export all metadata of the photo. I set the options in the export options page of LR to all. All metadata is exported except the data for the lens used to take the photo, like (Nikon) 24.0-120.0 mm.Happesn to all used lenses
Aperture, ISO, GPS, focus etc. everything is exported ok, except the data for the used lens. This info is present in the metadata screen of LR.
Any idea what causes this?

In your original NEF file, the lens is listed in the Manufacturer's Notes section. That section is not included in an output JPEG. It probably could be, but Adobe evidently decided not to write it to the JPEG. I suspect that the company considers it "as designed" and not a bug, but you could issue a Bug Report. See the link at the top of the forum page.

Hal,

I shoot NEFs (which I don't convert to DNG) and my metadata clearly includes the lens. I have programmed my Nikon D3 with the lens data of several manual focus lenses (16 mm fisheye, 24 mm, 35 mm, 500 mm) and the metadata for those lenses shows up properly.

To be clear, I haven't shot NEF+JPG in at least five years now.

Phil
