I haven't printed in a very long time with my Epson P 900, and after several Mac updates found Ultra Premium Luster and many other Epson ICC profiles missing in both Photoshop and LR. I re installed the print driver, specifically not choosing Airprint. Quite a few ICC profiles were still missing in the Color sync/Profiles folder, including Ultra Premium Luster which I want to use in LR to soft proof and print with. I did the fix that involves tracking down the hidden spot that Epson puts the missing profiles, and moved them into the Color Sync/Profiles folder. The ICC profile for Ultra Premium Luster is now in the Color Sync/Profiles folder and I am able to soft proof and print in Photoshop using that profile, but can't do either in LR. So in LR it is acting as if the profile is not in the Color Sync/Profile folder, but it is. Any suggestions?

What’s the exact version of the operating system? If it’s macOS Big Sur 11.6.2 through 11.6.4, and if the Premium Luster profile also does not appear in Apple ColorSync Utility, then the missing profile is related to a problem in that range of macOS versions, and the solution is to update to macOS 11.6.5 or later.

In Lightroom Classic you’ll first have to add them to the list of available profiles. Did you remember to (try to) do that?

Thanks. I was using Mac OS 11.6.4, and updating to 11.6.5 fixed the problem.
