No flash function on iPhone XsMax with Lr Mobile App

Does anybody have any insider info on this issue-the flash icon is greyed out .The latest info I could see from Adobe forums was to the effect that they are aware of problem but have no fix as yet-this was last December.Hardly ever use flash on mobile, but it's a niggle that it does'nt work.
