Import Nikon Z8 tethering issues

There has been some previous discussion (now closed) regarding Z8 tethering not working in LR Classic. The assumption seemed to be that it was Adobe's problem. However, I have determined that the Z8 does not tether to Capture One either. I know it used to work with Capture One and I have the photos to prove it. I don't know if it used to work with LR. My conclusion is that this is a Nikon problem - probably attributable to the 2.0 upgrade. I have rechecked my Z7 with both LR and C1 and it works with both. Does anyone know any different?

Have you done a post to the Z cameras forum on DPREVIEW?

Just so you know, I have been using my Nikon Z8 with capture one for at least eight months now. This has been fixed since Capture One 23 (16.2.0). I still, however, cannot get it to work with Lightroom classic.
