v 3.' now available.. Compatible with LR..

Curious how it interfaces...since it uses the U-Point technology are it's controls integrated with the Viveza controls if you're running Viveza or are they separate?

Trying to figure out where this is going... nice that we get the use of these apps as external editors but the round trips out and back using all of them is exhausting.. Edit in LR, out to Viveza, back in to LR, out to Sharpener Pro, back to LR...

Hi Michael!

I think we're at the very early stages of 3rd party integration. Trying to maintain LR's commitment to non-destructive editing yet allowing some more advanced 3rd party features is still a give and take.

I don't believe the Nik plugins are communicating with each other. But Nik is bundling more and more so perhaps their plan is to tie them together into a bundled super plugin at some point. I think they're still experimanting as well.

The possibilities here are very open ended. Considering that we are only at version 2 with LR 3 not too far away we have come a very long way from 1.'

I am interested in hearing from people who have used Sharpener Pro. So far, I have been very happy with the somewhat automatic adjustments available in LR. Not that sure I have a use for something else.
