I am on Mojave on my iMac and want to convert/migrate my Aplibraries to Lightroom [Classic] . On Mojave, the latest version of LR is 4 -- Apparently in Lightroom ver. 5+ there is some sort of plug in converter, but Lightroom 4 is needed to work on Mojave apparently [every time I try to install LR onto my Mojave machine it tells me I need an older version and apparently it's ver. 4 which is the one for Mojave. So the 'easy' plugin converter is not available, that I know of. -- I know/suppose I can do the migration the painful way but I was hoping there was some sort of plugin or converter which would relatively easily take the Aplibraries and move them into LR. Any ideas or suggestions?

Will try that = in the meantime moved a 1G Aplibrary with full previews over to my Monterey MBP, opened LRC and went to import that library using the plug in, it opened the Import from Aperture window and I selected the library, made a folder to hold the images - there are as of now -0- images in this LRC catalog so no need to back up == I went thru the options and set those up = but now the IMPORT button is greyed out...It won't let me import.

WEll, still no love -- I finally got LR Classic and it's installed on my newer MBP and opens just fine but when I try to import an Aplibrary [brand new 1200 pics only] using the plug-in it opens the window and I can select the ApLibrary but then the Import button greys out. = I can't get LR-C to let me import my Aplibrary into LR/C-

but then the Import button greys out
There have been several reports recently about this and no solutions posted:

One remote possibility comes to mind. Before running the plugin, go to Library Grid view, select one or more images, and then run the plugin. Years ago in an earlier version of the plugin, this fixed a problem with the File > Plug-in Extras menu item greying out. I think the workaround is less likely to affect the Import button being greyed out, but it's quick to try. Let us know.

If that doesn't help, it looks like either manually importing the photos or using Avalanche are your two remaining options.

Thank you = I'm trying out Avalanche = for the same reason in your earlier posting = at some point the cost of time in aggravation justifies the cost of something to lessen it = thanks for the suggestion =
