Greetings all!

First post here. I've imported my entire library and I'm nearly done with creating an extensive Keyword heirarchy and adding it to my pictures. However, I believe I'm missing a step somewhere - when I go to the Keyword Tags panel on the left and double-click on a keyword, the photos with that tag don't show up in the main window.

As an example, I have a keyword 'bridges,' which I've tagged my bridge pictures. But when I double click 'bridges' in the keywords panel, none of the tagged pictures are shown.

Although I know I can use keywords as a filter in the Find panel, it seems like a redundancy to have to go up there.

So...my question...am I missing something by clicking the keyword tag in the keyword panel and NOT seeing the filtered pictures, or does the keyword panel NOT filter when double clicked?

Many thanks in advance,
Manny

Manny,

First, *single*-click on the keyword in the Keyword Browser (that's the name of the left panel). For me double clicking wants to rename the keyword.

Second, are the keywords showing a count of how many images they are applied to? If not, something's wrong in your keywording method. Probably not tho', since you can *find* them.

Thirdly, and most likely, make sure you have no filters applied. In the library module, you can disable filters in the Library pull down menu (also ctrl-L). Or above the filmstrip at the far right of the filter strip, there's a switch icon to turn filters on and off.

Fourth, it helps everybody help you, if you whip up a signature block as you see most everybody else has. At top left of forum, click 'User CP'. You know, s/w versions, and OS's and hardware, astrological sign, etc.
