New to Lightroom: need HELP pls!!

Hi all, this is my first thread, so here goes:

I have Lightroom version 1.4.1, and a few days ago I stumbled upon a tool, setting (whatever it was) which allowed me to converse and inverse my RAW files. So, for example, using a Nikon D3 + 25mm Zeiss Distagon I shot a house for a mag cover. Now the wideangle lens inverted the sides of the house making the picture totally worthless.

By chance I stumbled upon an option/setting within Lightroom which allowed me to counteract the aberration by literally "pushing the photo outwards" to create a kind of fisheye effect. This resolved the issue of the useless pic which is now on a cover!! But, now I can't for the life of me retrace my steps and figure out how I did it.

Maybe I was using photoshop CS3, but I'm 99% sure it was Lightroom.

Any advice, feedback, suggestions etc would be so greatly appreciated, as I have a load of pics which need altering in the same way.

Nope, wasn't Lightroom. Probably CS3, or some other third-party tool.

Photoshop does have a lens distortion correction filter. It's under Distort in the filter menu.You might be able to make an export action out of it if all of your images need the same amount of correction.

Do you by any chance have PTLens as a filter in P'shop or as a standalone program?
That has the ability to correct distortions like that. You can also use it as an external editor in Lr2.

I am new to LR too, and have only played with version 2 (so this may not help) but in the Develop module, you can look at the history of your edits (left panel).
