When I create a new mask in the Develop module, (the radial gradient, for example), all of the sliders are already moved to positions that have been inherited (I presume) from some saved setting. This is a behavior that has only recently started, so I suspect that I've somehow inadvertently tripped some sort of preset or other setting that causing this to happen, but for the life of me I can't figure out where, nor what I can do to correct the behavior.

To illustrate, I've uploaded a screen shot of the mask panel that appears upon first creating a new mask (I haven't touched a single slider yet they've nearly all been moved). Anyone familiar with this? Thanks in advance for suggestions or guidance.

Solution
At the base of the Local Adjustment sliders- you have a check option-

If you check this option 'on' then the sliders will reset to '0' for each new mask.
