New mamber with question about folders

[WojteG]

Hello!
Can I move files IN Lightroom from one folder to another by dropping them like in Picasa or Windows Photo Gallery?
Why I have to locate file in LR each time I move one to another folder?
Above programs recognize any movement in next second.
Greetings...........................

Lightroom was not designed to recognize moves you make in Windows, because it uses a catalog (database) to tell it where the original photo is.

Therefore, you must move your photos in Lightroom, using the folder panel on the left of the Library view.

If you want to do this by drag & drop, you need to click on the picture itself in the grid, not on the gray frame around it.
