New lens correction - what lenses?

Sorry in advance if this is blindingly obvious somewhere!

Do we know what the list of lenses are already profiled by adobe. I can't seem to find that info.

I am asking to determine whether i need to download the profile creator from the labs.

Brad, you might express your opinion to Canon, perhaps as you visit various forums. Definitely won't happen without grassroots users encouragement. In the meantime, buy Sigma.

Willem, I believe Eric Chan, one of the lead engineers on this portion of the project, has said (in the link that Victoria provided) that the actual camera used for the shot is the least important part of the equation, it's the lens that's profiled. With the release of the publicly available profile tool, I believe you'll see any gaps in the lens list filled in quickly by enthusiasts.

the main difference with the camera will be the sensor size. So if you calibrate with a cropped sensor it will match most other cropped sensors of same/similar size. I imagine the list will grow and you can also create your own with the lens profiler. Adobe are also encouraging people to upload their calibrations and share them which is an excellent idea (they should have done that with raw profiles too IMHO)

As soon as I can get my hands on this prgm I'll start.

At this moment I use PTLens, which does the job well.
