Not sure what is going on with my LRC but everything has been smooth in adding new folders until a few weeks ago.
My usual process is to plug in SD card, create a new folder on my pc drive, copy images from SD to new folder, open LR, click "Add New Folder", Import, Hey presto they're in LR and I begin editing.
But over a week ago while using this process, some folders imported just fine while one did not. Why just one I'm not sure, but then (maybe unwisely) I created another folder and changed the name then copied again to this folder in the hopes that time would have fixed it (haha I know) and tried the same process again but now there are two greyed out folders showing 0 images in LR (face palm).
Why this process will not work for only these images I cannot figure out! All other images imported just fine. In saying that there was a folder a few days before this happened that had the same issue but someone suggested pausing sync which worked that time, however it did not work this time. Attached images show the culprits. I have recently updated my Driver. Other than that nothing has changed that I know of.
