New D3 and D700 Beta Camera Profiles

I heard these solved the highlight gradient / banding problem. ref: ishootshows.com.

Yep, we discussed these in an earlier thread. Since then I've tested them extensively. I like Camera Standard v2 best, though it's still a little contrasty for my taste, but it's warmer than Adobe Standard and not quite so bright.

Can you tell me for XP which folders the new files are too be located, I searched my PC but with no luck, even though I have a load of old profiles named Camera D2X etc. I thought it was in C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxx\Application Data\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles, but this is empty?

You've got it right, where "xxxxx" is "All Users". You need to download and install them there yourself. See the link I posted earlier for the details.
