Rick, Tips and Tricks is moderated. We like to limit that particular forum to just the actual tips and tricks, rather than requests for or discussion of the same.
Feel feel to copy from a post there, and start a thread in the appropriate forum, often General Discussion or Troubleshooting. If you have something you'd like to post there, just ask in a thread, one of the mods will take care of it. We're not too judgmental about the 'quality' of the tip, just that it's an actual tip.
And welcome to the forum. I think you'll find it a valuable asset; full of calm, capable, helpful, high-bandwidth contributors. The place is fueled by questions, join in, either asking or answering. We're not too big on pecking order, either.
