Stop struggling with Lightroom! There's no need to spend hours hunting for the answers to your Lightroom 6 questions. All the information you need is in Just confirming in the Export as Catalog dialog check box:

Does this mean to COPY the original RAW (or .psd, tiff etc.) files to the new location along with the Catalog?
