Need to move LR 2.6 from Leopard to new Snow Leopard drive: HOW?

I have lightroom and a small number of images on my Leopard drive and it's time to move it all to Snow Leopard. I have a clean installation of LR 2.6 in Snow Leopard. What folders do I need to copy over to duplicate my Leopard setup? The Leopard setup is a standard install. No file or folders in places other than LR defaults. I also have all of my presets and LR Mogrify. Is this a big deal or a copy and paste situation?

Has LR 2.6 been found to work well with SL?

Dear Victoria,

The only problem might be the drive names. I will still be using the Leopard drive as bootable ( running a MacPro) and its named Leopard... the drive running Snow Leopard is named Snow Leopard.
Wil this cause a big problem?

Where are the photos stored? On that drive that will be a different name? No great disaster, but you can save yourself a headache. When you reopen LR with the renamed drives, there would be question marks all over the place. Before you rename the drives, just follow the instructions in the link above for setting up a folder hierarchy, and then once you've formatted and renamed, you'll follow the instructions for relinking the files, and you'll be all set.

Ah My Queen,

The photos that were imported into LR 2.6 on my Leopard drive are exactly where LR stores imported files by default... possibly the Pictures folder? ( I am not near my Mac at present) I did not do any customizatioan at all to where LR stores it's image and preference data. I have a clean install of LR 2.6 on my Snow Leopard drive that has had nothing changed added or imported to it.
Do you think copy the LR folders and pasting them in the same spot on the new drive will work or will the different drive name frack things up?

Why? And is there any way to take out the space without having to wipe and reload the drive?

I think you just have to rename. As for spaces, they have a tendency to break links depending on how you use them. It is not just a name for the sake of a name. It is when you have to use it to make pointers that it become a problem.

New drive name may well bring up the question marks, but as long as you can relink them easily, that's no big deal.
